Tea Party

22 09 2010

A few weeks ago, I met up with a friend, Kaytie, at her wonderful new house, to take some photos.
This is something I really should do more of, since I love photographing people, but rarely get around to because my life’s completely upside down at the best of times (I practically live in two places, half the week each, work close to full time nightshifts, and have a tentative startup business on top of that).

The kitchen in Kaytie’s house has a wonderful vintage wallpaper, so we set up in there, whilst trying to dodge curious cats.
Lighting was provided by a stand-mounted flashgun off to the side, shooting through an umbrella, and a bracket mounted hammerhead bounced from the front.
